UK - Indoor Skydiving and War Horse

The boys thought it would be fun to try out indoor skydiving. Miles was particularly interested. Caden was not sure. We checked out some professional skydivers practising in the wind tunnel and voted to go for it. The kids got their sky diving suits, goggles and helmets on and we did the briefing.

Miles is demonstrating the sign for 'Relax' in sky diving language.

The boys wait to be called in. It went well, Miles was a bit scared but relaxed and went for it. Caden opted out, which was fine.

We had noodles and Japanese food at Wagamama's and then at home Miles did Meccano.. he enjoyed making a car with a motor.

We are learning about WWI and WWII at the moment amongst other things and Caden listened to War Horse this week by Michael Morpugo. We then went to the theatre in Milton Keynes to see the performance which was excellent. Afterwards, we did an interview for a local radio Heart of Herts, to review the show. It was interesting to see the recording equipment. This is us at the theatre before the show.

We went to Camp Mohawk with their old home eduating friends on Friday. This is a massive ship playground, they played all sorts, with all ages. It's much better learning to play with children of all ages than just one age group.

We went for dinner at our friend's house, this is the kids making their own chicken wraps.

We visited our other friends.. they were all so excited to spend time together.

and then home on the very choppy ferry to Calais.

Morocco 2023

Morocco was Miles' 13th birthday present. We were excited as it was our first trip to Africa.  We found an amazing restaurant for Mile...
