We have made some great, what I hope will be life long friends here in the Charents this year. The children are friends with our friend's children and we are all enjoying developing this tribe of ours! It feels great to be making a good life here and to be part of a strong and happy community!
The children get so much outdoor time in a safe way and they have so much space to play and nature to explore, they are so lucky!

Then at home we were clearing out the garden so we made a fire pit and the boys had fun picking up random sticks and bits of rotten wood to clear the lawn and we made fire!
Maybe we were a tad enthusiastic!

The kids had their first school photo!
And... we had a spell of sicknesses, I had something different on and off for about 2 months, the kids all took turns to be ill too so we had a few days off school.
