Academic work update

Miles is getting very good at his alphabet. He can say the whole alphabet now. I am working with him on recognising the letters. He recognises some of them but we have started doing what worked with Caden, which is reading the letters we recognise on car number plates and signs when we pass. He will pick it up over time.

They have been playing with the kids on the street near our house. It is so nice to see them being a part of a neighbourhood.

Caden has been making good progress with maths in the last two weeks. We have done quite a lot. Ordinal numbers, Estimating and rounding up, to name a few. He continues to score pretty much 100% across the board. He doesn't enjoy going to do it that much but when he gets into it and as long as I sit with him throughout and try to make it fun, I think he enjoys it. He certainly enjoys seeing a decent score come up anyway.

We stayed up to see the Super Moon too! It was very close to Earth last night so we watched it for a while and then they went to bed. The lights at the bottom are streetlights. It is not a very good photo really.
